Do you want to join one of the leading engineering consulting companies, creating value for customers, people, and societies worldwide? Can you add to our growth with your proven leadership skills and expertise in regional and international transit and underground projects? Then this could be the next step in your career!

Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow
As the Senior Structural Engineer, you will have an important role in running projects, developing client relationships, and acting as a lead to our structural team. You will be accountable for overseeing and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians involved in various structural designs for Earth Rehabilitation and Support Structures, structural engineering projects, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders. You will be engaged in project management of a project from feasibility through to detailed design and be the technical guide for the team.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Oversee the delivery of projects to time and budget
  • Lead a team of structural engineers on large transit and infrastructure projects
  • Organize and coordinate civil design on projects from feasibility to detailed design and site supervision where required
  • Be responsible for detailed structural design and analysis for underground structures ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current standards, relevant codes of practice, and best practices
  • Review, check, and approve designs, assessments, and calculations in accordance with quality procedures
  • Work and coordinate with teams located globally

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A registered Professional Engineer License (P.Eng.) in Ontario
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in structural designs of underground stations on transit and major infrastructure projects within North America (preferably within Ontario)
  • Direct client-handling experience combined with experience in leading project teams and performing independent technical reviews for projects
