Description Position Overview  As a Senior Strategy Manager on the Technology Enablement for Channels team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our strategic roadmap and leading critical capital planning activities that will help improve our Channel system experience and ecosystem. This team is directly responsible for platform enablement such as: Channel Partner Management System, National Channel Compensation System, TRL POS and Partners Portal, and the upcoming build of the new Distributor Platform. Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together You’ll be part of critical technology changes at TELUS as our Channel platforms go through the modernization and convergence evolution in both short and long term horizons. You will play a key role in strategic capital planning activities to support this evolution, interlocking with teams in CPO, CIO and CMC to enable simplified sales experiences for our sales reps and customers. You will champion new and existing platforms that enable our sales channels and broader Consumer Marketing and Channel (CMC) team.  Here’s how:  Oversee capital management strategy: tracking program capital utilization, facilitating executive updates/sign-offs, supporting business case creation, and identifying corrective actions to reduce capital risks and variances. Support the intake, channel impact assessment and prioritization of new projects in exploratory and Gate 0 phases, representing the needs and experiences for CMC Channels, before handing to PMO for project execution. Provide consultation (and sometimes lead) across other CMC portfolios, as it relates to new vendor procurement process and implementation for CMC-led tools and solutions Support larger CMC convergence opportunities and strategic roadmap, bringing all capital projects across CPO, CIO and CMC and creating a consolidated view of new capabilities launching  Act as product ambassador: consolidating user feedback into the roadmap, lead workshops to evaluate changes affecting channel stakeholders, offering innovative solutions, and ensuring stakeholder sign-off/alignment on solution design. Qualifications What you bring Strategic Thinking & Change Management: Ability to think strategically and connect the dots between the team and broader organizational context; ability to form strong working relationships and manage change effectively within the team and across cross-functional stakeholders Business acumen: Ability to analyze and solve business problems and translate broad strategic goals into meaningful and measurable programs Subject Matter Expertise: Ability to work with ambiguity while providing knowledge, expertise, and guidance to help the team execute program initiatives Communication Skills: Compelling story-telling, distilling vague concepts and/or complex problems into concise summaries and delivering executive level presentations Organization & Prioritization: Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work across the team Great-to-haves Experience in product development (hardware or software) and technical delivery, with more than 12 months of product management/ownership of customer or sales rep facing products/applications, and/or Experience in strategic planning, governance and program management that span across multiple business areas Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology, or other project management methodologies Working knowledge on TELUS Consumer, Mobility and Business products and services Experience leading transformational change management activities Required Professional Designation/Certification Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Business/Marketing/Sales or related Technology fields or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience
