New role leading product management for Global CSP clients
TELUS and AWS entered into strategic partnership and collaboration to create a new SmartHome platform that will use the latest advancements in cloud technologies, internet of things (IoT), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) to create automation experiences using all of your connected devices. Initially, we will launch the service for Canadian consumers in 2024, followed by a global rollout through strategic partnerships with other communication service providers.
To bolster this strategic initiative, we are establishing a new, high exposure position within the SmartHome+ product management team focused on managing our business with external partners. In this role, you will be tasked with two key initiatives. First, overseeing the product requirements of our global clientele across all regions (outside of Canada), supporting strategic prioritization of investments, and managing the necessary trade-offs essential for steering our forthcoming platform roadmap and product development. This role will be critical to TELUS achieving global scale with the SmartHome+ endeavor and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to build a team to manage the expansion of our global business, supporting global clients and managing the development of our product globally. The second focus of this role will be to ensure we drive maximum potential out of our partnership with AWS by overseeing key strategic programs between both organizations. This role will be central to the smooth operations of our partnership with Amazon and will be responsible for driving collaboration between the highest levels of both organizations.
