Senior Strategy and Operations Consultant

As we continue to innovate and lead in the telecommunications, IT, and cloud domains, we are seeking a Senior Strategy and Operations Consultant with a specialization in executive-level strategic communications. This role is designed for a visionary leader poised to drive strategic planning and operational excellence within our dynamic corporate landscape. Through an exceptional ability to absorb complex topics, strategic thinking, and leadership prowess, the ideal candidate will shape and implement strategies that propel Bell Canada to new heights of innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead articulation and mobilization of enterprise-wide technology initiatives, aligning them with Bell Canada’s long-term business objectives of transforming from a telco to a digital techco
• Conduct detailed written qualitative and quantitative analyses to communicate insights and points of view that inform strategic decisions
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to prepare and present compelling presentations and written artifacts for executive-level audiences, including CTIOs and SVPs, building trust and facilitating strategic alignment across the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, guiding the definition and achievement of business and technology visions and objectives.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to constantly refine and update strategic directions according to market dynamics.
• Employ a methodological approach in organizing work management systems, embodying an agile and lean mindset to enhance project team performance and outcomes.
• Conduct and facilitate impactful workshops and brainstorming sessions, driving stakeholder engagement and cohesive decision-making processes.
• Lead, delegate, and mentor a squad focussed on strategic artifact creation, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and improvement. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least ten years of work experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role managing teams and technology projects.
• Prior management consultancy experience, especially within the telecom, technology, or related sector, is highly desirable.
• Executive presence with clear, confident communication skills capable of engaging and persuading high-level audiences.
• Quick at grasping technical concepts, with a high degree of technical acumen.
• Exceptional analytical and synthesis abilities, ranking in the top 5% among peers, with proven capabilities in creating clear, structured, and impactful written and visual content for executive audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in using major collaboration tools for day-to-day operations and content development, including Miro, Confluence, Slack, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Agile and lean mindset in project management and operation.
• Excellent facilitation skills with a proven record of developing and delivering effective workshops.
• Highly motivated and committed to work under tight timelines, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
