Job Title:Senior Specialist Cyber Service LeadDivision:Office of the Chief Information Security OfficerReports To:Manager Cyber Service DeliverySalary Range: $122,305.00 to $163,639.00Work Location: 55 John Street, TorontoJob Type: Permanent Full TimeShift Information:Monday to Friday, 35 hours work weekJOB SUMMARY:To provide strategic and operational guidance to the Manager Cyber Service Delivery as well as the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) in the execution of its mandate to establish and maintain a City-wide cyber program to ensure the City is adequately protected.To define, develop and support cyber programs and initiatives, engaging with teams across the organization to build alignment on key projects and develop execution roadmaps.To collaborate with other segments of the organization to manage City-wide cyber initiatives.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:To promote engagement and awareness by establishing relationships with stakeholders and partners upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability in order to maintain trust and confidence of the team and the extended divisions, corporations and agencies we serve.To be a single point of contact from Office of the CISO, as well as a portfolio of clients; building strong relationships and managing client expectations and escalations.Manage cyber intake requests for client portfolios, gather information and coordinate with other areas in the Office of the CISO, communicate risks to the client and follow up to ensure remediation plans are developed.To lead, define and implement a business assurance framework along with requisite processes, and controls. To collaborate across all segments of the organization to ensure policies and standards are followed.QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:Post-secondary degree in Business or Technology or a related discipline.Extensive experience (over 5 years) with stakeholder management and client relations.Strong IT knowledge and cyber relevance with cyber threats, trends and technologies.Extensive experience in Information Security and program delivery.Extensive project management experience in deploying security-related initiatives.Experience working in transformative programs.Preferred Certifications (any in the list): CISSP, CISM or CISASKILLS:Ability to work in transformative programsAbility to lead efficient communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams and clientsAbility to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders.Excellent written & verbal communication skills (comfortable & confident communicating at all levels including business partners, leadership and vendors).Excellent problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated team player who takes initiative and is able to work independently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities with proven time management skills.Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritise and multitask.Ability to prioritize and effectively manage competing priorities and projects.Ability to manage multiple initiatives while adhering to strict deadlines.Tenacious and willing to support the team during peak volumes and workloads with various activities.Able to work extremely well under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalismSelf-motivated team player who takes initiative and can work independently.Transferable skills, like communication and decision-making, are equally important.Being able to think on your feet and show good judgment are especially valuable in this field. “Security pros should always be ready to react to cyber-related incidents quickly.ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/INFORMATION:A normal work week is 35 hours; however, unforeseen situation may require extended hours of work with little or no prior notice.
