Job Description

Continuously monitor and analyze global spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to reduce expenses while maintaining service levels.

Identify & execute on opportunities for vendor consolidation.

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories to optimize supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and improve operational efficiency.

Conduct supplier evaluations, analyze supplier capabilities, negotiate contracts, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and service requirements.

Appling knowledge of commercial contract law and organizational policies, practices, and requirements to assess, plan and negotiate the best terms and conditions and to minimize risk.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to understand requirements and provide support in sourcing initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure needs are met.

Stay up to date with market trends, supplier capabilities, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in the indirect procurement space, leverage this knowledge to inform sourcing decisions and drive innovation.

Monitor supplier performance, work with Vendor Managers to resolve any issues or disputes and drive continuous improvement through regular performance reviews and supplier scorecards.

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function, suggest and implement enhancements to streamline sourcing activities, increase efficiency, and reduce cycle times.

WHAT IT TAKESĀ 

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Professional designation/certification in Supply Chain Management (PMAC SCMP / CPP, ISM) or PMP is a plus.

Proven experience as a Sourcing Specialist or a similar role in procurement, preferably in the tech sector with a focus on indirect spend management and vendor consolidation on a global scale.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

Ability to take initiative in recognizing data issues/concerns or areas where improvements could be made.

Strong leadership and facilitation skills with a proven ability to be a solutions-oriented decision maker.

Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Advanced digital literacy including proficiency in using procurement tools such as Ariba, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and NetSuite.

Knowledge of market trends, sourcing best practices, and emerging technologies in the indirect procurement space.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Self-management including attention to detail, organizational/time management, strong inclination to self-development.

Demonstrated ability to adapt in changing environments.
