We are seeking a keen Senior Sourcing Manager to work closely with senior leadership to command the development and management of our global network of factory partners. This instrumental role involves shaping and executing sourcing strategies aligned with company vision, ensuring product quality, cost efficiency, sustainability, and compliance. From identifying and onboarding new vendors to negotiating costs and fostering innovation, this sourcing leader will drive excellence across our supply chain. Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with merchant and design/product development teams to execute sourcing strategies aligned with company vision.
  • Enhance and develop new vendor sourcing procedures and SOPs, including best practices for onboarding, auditing, and compliance processes.
  • Establish a vendor network meeting the needs of our product categories by validating vendors' technical capabilities.
  • Audit current vendor sources, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist cross-functional teams in the Merchandising department to ensure alignment with design vision and cost parameters.
  • Negotiate product costs across vendors to achieve target prices and margins.
  • Develop costing breakdown structures and implement them across all product categories and vendors.
  • Create visual/concept product briefs for vendor communication as needed.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) in PLM and physical documentation.
  • Establish sourcing protocols and conduct new vendor risk assessments.
  • Participate in proto sample reviews to ensure adherence to company expectations.
  • Support preliminary quality assurance processes by reviewing laboratory testing reports.
  • Collaborate on bi-annual vendor scorecard publishing to evaluate vendors on KPIs.
  • Provide technical manufacturing guidance and training to cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate sourcing update meetings to ensure awareness of work in progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends for future product development.
  • Network within the fashion industry to build supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and planning partners to develop production plans.
  • Align/realign Product Development and Production teams' responsibilities with sourcing needs.
  • Support enhanced vendor standards manual and social compliance accreditation.
  • Initiate testing processes during development phases to ensure compliance.
  • Mentor key PD and Production team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; travel as needed.

Experience, Education & Designations

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 8+ years’ product development and sourcing experience in apparel.
  • Experience in global sourcing and product development.
  • Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes.
  • Previous experience negotiating product costs.
  • Understanding of brand pricing strategy and margin expectations.
  • Knowledge of design spec packages and lab testing protocols.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
  • Familiarity with garment production materials.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Product Lifecycle Management.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
