Orbital Technologies is hiring and we need more great people to join our software development team.Orbital Technologies is a software development company located in Vancouver, BC with over 20 years of experience building software.Candidates should have some or all of the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent8+ years experience in an enterprise-level commercial software development environmentExperience with Azure, AWS, and cloud-hosted applicationsExpertise in Object-Oriented Design and Database DesignExperience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalSuperb customer-facing, time management, and organizational skillsStrong initiative – must be able to work with a minimum of supervisionExcellent problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work on different types of software development, as requested by our clientsPassion to learnDrive to succeedAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workResponsibilitiesWriting clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable codeDevelop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancementsCoordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standardsSupport test and deployment of new products and featuresParticipate in code reviewsWe thank all applicants for their interest.
