Plunge - Senior Software Engineer
About Us
Plunge is a company for passionate engineers, led by passionate engineers. We build and ship products for our clients - startups backed by category-defining VCs such as Sequoia, a16z, investment funds, as well as F500 companies. They come to us to expand their engineering teams across Canada, to tackle some of their hardest internal and external engineering problems.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and ship software to production
Maintain a sense of ownership on the entire process above
Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency the codebase you’ll work on
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
Experience as a generalist, working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems fast
Proficiency in languages commonly used across the web, including Javascript, TypeScript and Python
Knowledge of React, NextJs, ability to rapidly navigate RESTFul APIs and GraphQL, alongside SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus
Strong track record in leading and driving projects to the finish line, even under ambiguity
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Base salary range of CAD $105,000 - $145,000 a year
