Senior Software Engineer, Insights (Auth0)
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Identity Security Insights team. The team modernizes how Auth0 empowers customers to access and understand their data and to monitor and address security concerns.
What you will do
- Help design secure, performant, cross-platform browser-based features.
- Collaborate inside your team to solve technical and non-technical challenges.
- Work closely with Product and Design to determine and optimize user experience.
- Build new and maintain existing features by contributing across the full technical stack.
- Debug and resolve production issues and implement fixes for them.
- Be part of the team’s on-call rotations.
- Evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve overall practices.
You are a good fit for this role if you
- Have 5+ years of software development experience.
- Are familiar with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
- Have a solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Are comfortable writing and operating full-stack applications.
- Have experience owning, designing, and driving projects end to end.
- Enjoy greenfield development and iterating on existing features.
- Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Enjoy being part of a highly collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
- Have a passion for learning.
It is helpful, but not required, if you
- Have experience working in distributed teams and work environments.
- Have experience working with React and Styled Components.
- Have experience working with data driven applications.
- Have experience working with Golang.
Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:
CA$130,000—CA$194,000
