As part of a team of talented individuals, you would play an important role in designing, developing, and maintaining exciting and responsive software solutions.

Job Description:

You will be part of a team working on a range of next generation solutions for public fixed-route transit. You will work on a variety of development tasks in a growing organization and focus on cross-team support of modern web/cloud-based solutions/products. You will participate in cross-functional teamwork such as design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and defining specifications.

As a Senior Software Developer at Trapeze MPS, you will:

• Lead the design and development of new features, unit and integration tests, bug fixes, and enhancement of existing code.
• Hands-on involvement in development, design, architecture, and code review
• Apply principles and methodologies of scrum agile development practices.
• Maintain regular communication with other team members and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely product deliveries.
• Ensure that technical and quality standards are applied throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform daily code reviews for other team members who work on the same project.
• Document and test to ensure the quality of the completed work requirement.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness of existing applications and develop strategies to improve the systems in place.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering Science or equivalent
• Must have 5+ Years of experience in front-end web development.
• An in-depth understanding of Angular 2+/Typescript, RxJS, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS is a must.
• Knowledge of web components is an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into technical design.
• Ability to conduct thorough code reviews and provide valuable feedback to other developers.
• Experience working with Back-end technologies (.NET/C#, Web APIs) is an asset.
• Exposure to DevOps – CI/CD processes/frameworks is an asset.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong belief in Leadership and accountability.
