Aquanow, a leading infrastructure and liquidity provider that enables institutional and enterprise use-cases for digital assets, is looking for a Senior SDET or QA Engineer to join our technology team. In this position, you will lead the design and implementation of improved QA processes and take an active role in leading and shaping the team. You welcome challenges, enjoy hands-on work, and have a keen interest in testing philosophy and development methodologies.What we OfferFlexible work environmentCompetitive salary and vacation payHealthcare packageCareer growth opportunities in a fast-growing environmentDuties and Responsibilities:Work closely with the team engineering manager and product owner to analyze new requirements and assess testing feasibility before changes enter the pipelineBuild and maintain a well-documented suite of high-quality automated and manual tests and ensure visibility to product stakeholdersPerform periodic test coverage audits and coordinate with management to introduce automation tasks in the development lifecycleManage testing for each software release, working with other team QA specialists to ensure everything is properly tested before signing offProvide mentorship for other members of the QA team and train developers in QA/testing activities as neededWork with management and the company QA chapter to determine the needs of the team and assist in new hiringBasic Qualifications:Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with experience in an SDET or QAE roleDemonstrated leadership and communication skillsExperience with software testing across multiple domains - frontend, backend, performance & security testingCreative, independent, self-motivated and quick to learn new technologiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in a Senior QA or QA Lead roleExperience with Agile workflow - working with product owners defining, and refining user storiesExperience or interest in BDD methodologyComfortable programming in Javascript/NodeJS environmentExperience with web automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright)Knowledge of QA workflow automation tooling, such as GitHub actions, CI/CD systemsBackground in digital payment/financial industry and/or interest in cryptocurrency / decentralized financeThese are not strict requirements to thrive in this role.
