As the Director, Sales Specialist, you will develop an understanding of clients' priorities and drive new sales and growth opportunities. By strengthening client relationships, you will identify sales opportunities and position the company as a strategic partner. The Sales Trainer will oversee, implement, and maintain Symcor's comprehensive learning and development programs. Maintain, evolve, and adapt the sales training curriculum to meet the dynamic needs of the organization. Deliver training using a mix of instructional techniques and approaches. Evaluate individual needs and provide relevant and timely training. Evaluate the training program and its effectiveness for the company’s current products and services. Track performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of training and coaching efforts. Develop training programs and materials to support the sales of new products and services. Using data-driven insights to refine training strategies and address areas of improvement. Keep up to date on industry best practices and ensure training materials and approaches are relevant and in line with industry standards and expectations. College diploma or undergraduate university degree in a related discipline; adult learning certification is an asset A minimum of 8 years of sales experience, including 5 years of experience as a sales trainer Understanding of Adult Learning Principles and training methods Proven sales experience Proficiency in CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) Familiarity with sales workflows, lead generation and deal stages We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities.
