Your new Role: The organization is looking for a strong Intermediate Recruiter to support a large project coming up in Vancouver! The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about recruiting, has a solid understanding of how to recruit for engineering / technical roles, and is excited to collaborate with other recruiters and projects across Canada. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, business leaders and candidates, have daily interaction with Hiring Managers to ensure effective delivery of resources against open vacancies, and deliver an ethical and customer focused resourcing service. Manage all aspects of the recruiting process (sourcing, pre-screen interviews, setting up interviews with internal team members, presentation of offers, closing)Develop and execute cost-effective and creative resourcing strategies that meet the immediate and future needsBuild and maintain a network of potential passive and active candidates through pro-active sourcing and networkingMaintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches and recruiting activitiesWork cooperatively with all members of the recruiting team to develop and implement plans and activitiesProvide feedback and creative ideas for the recruitment process as the project grows and team continues to builds What you will need to succeed: 5-7 years of experience in full cycle recruitment, preferably in the engineering, IT or construction spaceBachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field considered an assetHighly comfortable talking to people and has no problem picking up the phone (hunter mentality)Strong initiative and consistently delivers results of the highest quality; takes accountability for one's work, has a strong sense of urgency, overcomes hurdles and ensures that results are deliveredPrior success and experience in managing all recruiting lifecycle components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, offer negotiation, and closing.Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) are requiredStrong attention to detail with excellent communication skillsCollaborative by nature, with the ability to work in a dynamic and growing environmentAbility to create and maintain strong relationships with candidates and with internal team membersProficient in utilizing an Applicant Tracking System for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates What you will get in return: Comprehensive health benefits RRSP matching 3-4 weeks' vacationEducational funds Ability to work for a large global company with a diverse and multicultural team What you need to do now: If you're interested in this role, click "apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
