Weare currently looking to fill the following position:
Senior PythonProgrammer (automated tests)
As a Senior Python Programmer, you will have an essential role in thedevelopment and maintenance of automated tests for our electronic products. Youwill be involved in all phases of the test lifecycle, from design to execution,including analysis of results.
Main responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and architecture of automated test systems forour new products.
- Support current test scripts to optimize performance andstability/quality/reliability of testing of our boards and systems assembled bythe production department.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand the boards/systems tobe tested and translate this understanding into automated test scenarios.
- Serve as a mentor to more junior members of the testing team.
- Share best practices, knowledge and skills in automated testing.
- Clearly and concisely document test processes, test results and test reports
Qualifications required:
- Be creative to find innovative solutions to problems encountered.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an automated test development roleor similar.
- Strong experience in Python and script development.
- Knowledge of SQL databases would be an asset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
