This role requires broad experience managing enterprise change, anddefining execution strategies that adhere to organizationalobjectives. The successful consultant will have deep IT skills, proven professionalexperience in similar roles, and a strong desire to deliver highest-qualityresults in a demanding setting. Provide project management expertise and oversight of IT Infrastructureprojects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery without compromising highquality deliverables. Ownership of assigned IT projects and initiatives, bringing them to asuccessful closure. Provide periodic reporting on project status, activities and tasks,risk, interdependencies, and issues for presentation to senior executives,major stakeholders. Preparation and presentation of decision-making material for internalgovernance. Be involved in planning and design, delivering business cases forinfrastructure implementation. Collaborate closely with PHSA technical operations, facilityoperations, and architecture teams. Deliver quality documentation allowing for smooth execution of work,ensuring close observance of internal policies and processes. Write business cases and project charters. Accountable for project plan, scope, budget, risk, issue, and resourcemanagement. Accountable for delivery of all in-scope project activities. Develop and facilitate project governance process to supportdelivery. Prepare materials and facilitate discussions and decisions atGovernance Committee meetings. Develop project strategy and approach for stakeholder review anddecisions. Liaise with vendor and manage vendor resources, where required, tosupport project delivery. Lead and performance manage project resources. Ensure projects align with PQTO standards and governanceguidelines. Facilitates client engagement, supporting appropriate planning andcommunications. Manage procurement to meet project plans. Senior Project Manager MandatorySkillsMinimum 5 years working as a senior infrastructure project managerwithin an enterprise delivery organization. A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a degreein Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration,Information Management, or a related discipline. Experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a widerange of stakeholder groups. Required to develop business cases and project charters so consultantmust have strong business writing skills. Must be a relationship and team builder. Must have demonstrated experience leading and delivering enterpriselevel projects (5 years). Demonstrated capability in handling sensitive and challengingsituations. Excellent communication with Technical Leaders. Demonstrated capability to work with Senior Management Team andExecutives. Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. PMP certification (ITIL accepted). Strong client focused, team-oriented communication skills with emphasison building lasting, trusted partnerships through written and verbalcommunications with clients of Technology Alignment. Experienced in thoroughly integrating change management and processimprovement principles into own project management style. Experience coordinating and supporting changes and upgrades to LIVEcritical systems. Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio,Project). Knowledge of PM tools, such as Microsoft Project. Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Senior Project Manager Nice-To-Have SkillsExperience working within theBritish Columbian HealthAuthorities. Experience working in highly structured PMO environments. Past project management experience with Clinical InformationSystems.Senior Project Manager Assignment LengthSix (6)month contract with the potential for three (3) extensions of six (6)months each.Senior Project Manager Start DateASAPSenior Project Manager Assignment LocationMainoffice located in Burnaby, British Columbia.
