The E&S Service Line is a vibrant and growing team covering: Planning, Monitoring, & Management (including marine, atmospherics, terrestrial, and aquatic sciences); Society, Governance, & Engagement; and Regulatory Approvals, Permits & Compliance. We provide a full range of environmental services with a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation, and quality of work within small project consulting and strategic advisory assignments through to large project engineering and construction management delivery. We pride ourselves on the integration of our E&S specialists with our engineering, construction management and project delivery teams. Our aim is to recruit, develop, and most importantly, retain the people who share our vision and strategy.Overall Responsibilities and Key AccountabilitiesManage team(s) in the design and construction management of ports and marine structures including docks, marinas, ports, ferry terminals, piers, steel sheet pile structures, steel and timber pile structures, floating structures and waterfront facilities.Developing work plans and budgetsDetermination of client requirementsManage and control project budgets / schedulesOversight of preparation of project deliverables including drawings, specifications and reportsOversight of field work during constructionActively engage with internal and external clients for business development and Coordinate the work with other disciplines.Prepare or assist in preparing proposals, design work cost estimate, and project scheduling.Actively encourage and support a safety-oriented culture.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering10 to 15 years of project management experience in ports and marine infrastructureRegistered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng in CanadaExperience in mid to large scale projectsGood communication skills both written and verbalExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional interpersonal skillsAdvisian (part of the Worley Group) offers an excellent remuneration & benefits package, a friendly, professional, dynamic and flexible work environment along with the opportunity to develop your career prospects within Canada and overseas.We strive to be an industry leader in health, safety and environmental performance.
