The potential candidate will deliver project management expertise for sizable, intricate, high-profile, and high-risk projects within public service initiatives. It also emphasizes cost-efficiency, operational effectiveness, and compliance with related project management standards and frameworks.ResponsibilitiesSpearheads organizational development, strategic planning, and Ministry funding initiatives.Collates and refines requirements to craft and maintain comprehensive project schedules and integrated plans.Proficiently tracks and predicts project expenses, offering insights and feedback to ensure financial objectives are achieved.Develop restoration plans, ensure compliance with heritage regulations, and preserve historical and cultural integrity.Assess building stability, determine structural repairs, and ensure safety standards while preserving historic features.Manages project timelines, deliverables, and scope, emphasizing adherence to industry best practices and standards.Guides project teams towards timely delivery of objectives, ensuring alignment with government and ministry regulations.Oversees project processes, fostering adherence to guidelines and procedures while facilitating effective communication.Recruits, assesses, and integrates team members across diverse disciplines, defining roles and expectations for both unionized employees and consultants.QualificationsProficient in Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.Experienced in planning infrastructure projects with a focus on security, accessibility, and heritage considerations.Skilled in managing project monitoring, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring project effectiveness.Capable of identifying and addressing conflicts between project and functional areas.Strong ability to manage client relationships, providing updates and managing expectations effectively.Previous Public Sector Experience is an assetWe thank all candidates in advance.
