Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to join the team working remote anywhere nationwide. As the Senior Product Owner, you will connect our business stakeholders and our development Scrum teams by managing solution delivery expectations and keeping information flowing in both directions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and the development teams to define and prioritize the Product Vision and Features to maximize value delivered to internal business partners. You will be informed of the business objectives and priorities, empowered to deliver, available to the delivery team, prepared, domain knowledgeable and a subject matter expert. Additionally, in this role you will combine expertise in the domain of Data Security, Data Protection and apply Lean and Agile principles to deliver innovative business intelligence, reporting and analytic solutions. Key Role Functions Assist with the development team determine what to build and in what sequence Define project goals, sprint/iteration objectives and user acceptance tests Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize ROI as well as other Product Owners Provide day-to-day tactical direction for the team and manage the sprint and cross project priorities Unblock and focus the feature teams throughout the release Manage defect scheduling in the backlog Define, communicate and reinforce the product/feature vision Collaborate with business stakeholders and the team to define and communicate the product roadmap Gathers requirements from stakeholders by gaining an understanding of the business problem and/or opportunity Collate, analyze and prioritize requirements Write well-defined User Stories/Use Cases and acceptance criteria Own the product backlog Enable incremental delivery of features over multiple releases, minimizing time-to-market Enable incremental feature development using Lean and Agile principles Prepare the product backlog for the upcoming 2-3 iterations/sprints as well as reports for management regarding project status Lead sprint planning meetings; explains feature priorities and requirements to the development team, sprint review (demo) to provide fast feedback on sprint results and sprint retrospectives and contributes to continuous process improvement Required Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Cyber Security domain Knowledge of Data Security domain Experience leading in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) program or portfolio environment Understanding of system architectural components Experience with Cloud infrastructure and Cloud migrations Relevant technical or business work experience Working knowledge of Lean and Agile values, principles and practices
