About the role
- As a Senior Product Manager in the Central Platform group, you will be leading the Game Tools product area, helping our games, publishing, and community teams deliver high-quality live services and player messaging experiences.
- You will be a core part of the team that builds the technical foundation of our games and designs the Fortis live services and player communication experiences for our players.
- As the feature team lead, you will drive product strategy and roadmapping in partnership with engineering and central product leadership.
- You will own the overall product experience for the areas you’re responsible for, including the design for the parts that require UI/UX, the developer experience where applicable, documentation, analytics, and onboarding.
- You will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.
- You’ll be responsible for guiding your product throughout the execution cycle, from requirements collection through execution and iteration to stable long-term support.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Proven experience designing products and services for games, particularly at scale in the F2P space. Bonus points for game liveops, multi-channel messaging, and campaign orchestration experience.
- Exceptional product understanding of service products and proven success in developing and delivering those products over several releases.
- Strong ability to break down complex problems into steps that drive product strategy and prioritization decisions.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams to understand customer needs and drive toward consensus toward solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to estimate, prioritize, and measure the impact of product additions and improvements, using sound data analysis and A/B test management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Product/Project Management best practices, including practical Agile development. Product Owner or Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn - we believe this is essential to our ability to stay ahead of the market and value this over years of experience.
- Additional bonus points: previous technical experience. Should be comfortable delving into a technical product and working with engineers on a deep level.
- We expect our leaders to continue being students of their craft and the business and technology spaces they’re working in. You should be educated on the latest trends and have a strong perspective on how they relate to our current and future projects.
