Job Description

Typical Day in Role:
• Contributing to and shaping the design of digital banking experiences for millions of customers daily.
• Understanding customer needs through thorough research and usability principles.
• Advocating for improved customer interactions and journeys with inclusive design principles.
• Collaborating with various teams to create useful, engaging, and effective products.
• Supporting and communicating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development process.
• Producing visual materials to depict desired customer experiences and guide developers.
• Providing feedback within the design community and coaching junior designers.
• Demonstrating leadership by effectively communicating with partners and executives.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• Over 8 years of experience designing responsive web and/or mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Design Systems and a willingness to enhance existing standards.
• Experience applying design thinking and user-centered design principles.
• A portfolio showcasing your problem-solving approach and design process.
• Proficiency in digital design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Expertise in Human-centered Design practices and Agile frameworks.
• Ability to map user journeys and understand front-end technologies.
• Link to the Portfolio is must (Mobile designs, Web designs) – Delivered products which are in market with real world usage.
Soft Skills Required:
• Ability to communicate ideas visually and rapidly.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and a growth mindset.
• Quick learner with an interest in understanding financial solutions.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Background in complementary fields like visual design, animation, research, data analysis, etc.
• Experience in FinTechs or other financial product fields.
Education:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Humanities, Systems Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
