What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Sr. Pipeline Developer to join our Art Pipeline team to help us improve artist efficiency. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting production teams and developing tools and workflows across one or more content creation disciplines.
In this role, you will
Build best-in-class production workflow tooling and automations within an established development framework
Scope out and drive production engineering initiatives, working closely with other developers and stakeholders toward scalable, maintainable solutions
Deliver practical, forward-thinking solutions that address the needs of Artists while working with production to balance development priorities and timelines
Promote and demonstrate development progress to relevant stakeholders
What we're looking for
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering, or relevant industry experience, with a strong foundation in software design patterns and object oriented programming
5+ years experience as a Pipeline Developer, Technical Artist, or similar, working on production in games, feature animation, VFX, or related industry
Experience integrating and maintaining custom tools in 3rd Party software with Python and Qt
High attention to detail, proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and an ability to multitask effectively
Bonus for experience in one or more of the following areas: Unreal Engine, C++, USD, ShotGrid/Flow Toolkit, Deadline, Adobe Substance, Motion systems, Media & Review, DevOps
