Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey.We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.# WeAreWSPWhat you can expect to do here:Prepare Material Requisitions for bid and purchase on mechanical equipment and packaged equipmentDevelop Technical Bid Evaluations for equipment and packaged equipmentGuide vendors in meeting client needs and specificationsChampion change management with respect to vendor changesReview vendor developed drawings & documentationCoordinate with other disciplines to obtain comments on vendor documentationMentor junior mechanical engineers in the development of MRQs/TBEs/MRPsProvide feedback regularly of team members when requested.Oversee and check the MRQs/TBEs/MRPs of othersReview and apply the relevant client specifications, codes and standards to mechanical equipmentPrepare equipment listsSupport the preparation of Construction Work Packages and Engineering Work PackagesParticipate in the design reviews and HAZOPsAssist in the development of WSP and Client specifications using the applicable standards and industry knowledgeLead teams of mechanical engineers and provide accurate reporting on budget and schedule to project management teamIdentify gaps and improvements to WSP procedures and templatesAuthenticate professional work product as requiredWhat you’ll bring to WSP:Graduate in Engineering, Applied Science or Engineering Technology DiplomaRegistered with Provincial Engineering AssociationP.Eng or P.Tech designationAbility to act as a subject matter expert in any of the following fields is an asset:Materials EngineeringMaterials HandlingASME Piping Standards including ASME B31.12Pipeline EngineeringBe able to handle queries from clients, vendors and project teamAbout UsWSPis one of the world's leading professional services firms.
