There is an immediate opening for a Marketing and Business Development Manager at their Canadian Headquarters in Markham, ON. As their Marketing and Business Development Manager - you will be a key leader in managing the entire category/product assortment for the Canadian division, Customer Business Development, and all Marketing related activities (Advertising, Promotions, Public Relations and Research).

Job Responsibilities • Responsible for leading and managing a team of 3 – Marketing Specialist, Marketing Analyst, Business Development Specialist • Develop and execute strategic product assortment portfolio for the Canadian division for ALL product categories the Company participates in and across all brands, which are internationally renowned • Adapt US product launches to the Canadian marketplace and develop unique/local products to capitalize on market/consumer trends in Canada. • Communicate new product launches to the Sales team including pricing and key account placement strategies in order to maximize product placements during the Customer Line Review process. • Manage overall Marketing Budget and plan/develop and implement marketing strategies and activities • Consumer and Trade Communications –Develop and implement all aspects of consumer & trade communications including Packaging, On-product graphics, Point of Purchase materials, Use & Care, Web graphics, Pamphlets & Brochures, In-store signage and Public Relations releases. • Manage the Customer Line Review Process by developing all presentation materials, critical paths for each key account in order to ensure all timelines are met and key focus is allocated to New Products in order to maximize sell-in of New Products and existing products as well. • Develop pricing strategies and volume estimates during the Annual Budget Planning cycle in order to improve sales, margins and op profit of all key accounts and working to improve the overall product mix at each account.

Job Qualifications • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or equivalent • 7-10 years Senior Marketing experience • Strong strategic planning skills • Strong ability to manage multiple brands, product lines, channels, accounts, price points within a fiercely competitive, dynamic and ever-changing retail environment. • Direct supervisory experience, personnel development and management skills. • Experience with local product development and working with US based product marketing teams to execute. • Strong ability to manage product standard margins, affect P&L through deciding business direction from product portfolio management, new product development, pricing, channel and customer management.
