This is a unique opportunity to work on Xeim’s core brands including Marketing Week, Festival of Marketing and Creative Review.As Marketing Executive you will be part of a team responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing effective marketing campaigns to support our events and core brands within Xeim.With a focus on Marketing Week’s flagship conference, the Festival of Marketing, this is a varied role employing the full marketing mix of both online and offline methods to generate interest and engagement, drive delegate bookings as well influencing subscriptions. If you have experience of engaging audiences and turning that engagement into bookings and revenue, then we would like to hear from you.To ensure success, you will be supported by a broader network of people from the brand and event marketing teams through to our data, digital and automation teams and partners and work closely with the Head of Marketing.Key Accountabilities:Executes marketing plans, producing high quality, response-driven marketing campaigns that integrate online and offline marketing activitiesYou will possess multichannel experience including social media, websites, email advertising, paid social and display advertisingWrites and edits high quality, compelling copyDevelops and maintains all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needsSupports the development of creative concepts; producing briefs and managing each stage of the design process to ensure all marketing material is approved and delivered to scheduleProduces timely and accurate audience and marketing reports, through maintenance of all data collection points and ensuring data is collected in line with best practice guidelinesDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior marketing team members to ensure the marketing activity is fully aligned with the business needsProvides regular status to key contacts on progress and potential concerns relating to promotional activity and general workloadDemonstrates industry awareness and audience understanding across defined marketing products and broader portfolio, identifying key competitors, monitoring audience and marketing activityWhat we need from you…Understanding of marketing principles, developments and new techniques and demonstrated experience in campaign managementProject management and organisation skills and ability to manage simultaneous projects to tight deadlines and to prioritise tasksAbility to develop a deep understanding of audience and productsHighly motivated, creative, energetic and resourcefulA collaborator able to work with a variety of people and teams both internally and externallyExcellent communication skills – verbal and written – and a strong track record of creating compelling and effective communicationsProactive and accountable attitude to delivering objectivesThe role has a lot of variety and you will be confident working in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentCopy writing, proof reading skills and attention to detailStrong analytical skills and awareness of digital and online platformsComputer literate with good knowledge of I.T. including Office packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and OutlookWhat we can offer you25 days holiday, increasing by one day p.a. to a maximum of 30 days for every year servedStunning Waterloo offices with views of the Thames plus complimentary barista coffee / free bar / table tennis tables – the worksComplimentary access to accredited training programmes worth thousands of pounds including our Mini MBAActive Diversity and Inclusivity agenda (DICE – Diversity Inclusion, Culture, Engagement)
