We are a niche firm, with a unique and differentiated selling proposition. To further enhance our growth trajectory, we are seeking to fill the newly created role of Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations. In this role, you will report to the VP, People and Organizational Effectiveness.The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business performance through competitive intelligence analysis, strategic planning, and operational excellence. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate across multiple functions, lead special projects, and provide valuable insights to our executive leadership; ultimately supporting the growth of our business.We are all committed to working together to achieve our North Star of a team of great people, doing great work and having a great time doing it. We find that this allows us to be agile in our approach to the work and provide growth opportunities for our team members.BrandActive is going places – join us and help make it an even better place to work.ResponsibilitiesConduct competitive intelligence analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunitiesWork collaboratively across multiple functions to unify growth teams and drive alignment towards strategic objectivesDefine and track KPIs to support the evaluation of BrandActive’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase in operating efficienciesOwn the strategy map, ensuring regular updates to reflect evolving business priorities and engaging the organization to ensure teams know their role in bringing it to lifeBuild and manage cross-functional project plans, including technology implementations and organizational transformationsProvide general analytical support for operational and strategic decisions, leveraging data-driven insightsTracks and analyzes the success factors of major projects and initiativesOperate as an embedded strategic management consultant and resource, offering expertise and guidance to internal stakeholdersFacilitate the synthesis of cross-functional research and analysis to develop business cases and incubate new opportunities.Create board and leadership strategy decks to communicate key insights and recommendations.Lead, organize, and manage executive-level special projects to explore and implement changes across the organization.Capture major takeaways, maintain milestones, and track, assign, and drive the delivery of action items.Help optimize the executive team's time by triaging work and meetings effectively.Communicate priorities, activities, and results to the larger organization, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.Team member developmentTake accountability for own development, creating and updating development plan as required, remaining open to feedback and communicating with people leader around aspirationsLook for opportunities to contribute toContribute to the growth and development of colleagues by providing meaningful and relevant feedbackInteract in an inclusive and supportive manner with colleagues at all timesContribute to internal initiatives that impact the client and/or team member experienceBring forward smarter, faster, better solutions to processes and identify opportunities to be more agile in day-to-day activitiesEstablish and support an inclusive work environment where team members feel a sense of belonging by demonstrating inclusive values and behavioursContribute to BrandActive’s core values of trust, agility, and growthQualifications and Experience7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, management consulting, or corporate strategy rolesExcellent critical thinking skills, with an ability to take small steps towards achieving goals, with a focus on incremental progressDemonstrated capability to pivot, learn and switch directions easily in response to changing business needsStrong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and fill gaps in processes, systems, or strategiesAbility to influence without direct authority.Comfortable at 1,000 feet and 1 foot and doesn’t hesitate to roll up their sleeves when necessary.Proven track record of leading complex projects and driving business results.Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively across functionsSuperior organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the proven ability to manage projectsAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally and to work collaboratively at all timesSelf-starter with the ability to work well independentlyCompensationBrandActive offers a competitive compensation package including a comprehensive benefits plan.
