About the role

As ATB’s next Sr Manager, Salesforce, you will lead, manage and coach our Salesforce Development team to deliver world class experiences to our team members and clients using Agile delivery methodologies. You will lead a team of Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Admins and QAs to scale our platform to meet our Wealth business objectives. You will be responsible for executing on the needed technology strategies and supporting tactics to ensure related initiatives are defined and completed while maintaining effective delivery of day-to-day services. You will help us execute on the technical direction as we configure and customize Salesforce. This role is required to collaborate with other areas of ATB to empower teams to build, deploy and support high quality applications. In addition, this role is also required to continuously measure and improve performance levels of delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Your day-to-day involves collaborating with product, design, and agile delivery leaders and remove blockers and impediments for target milestones
  • Coach your direct reports to have a positive impact on the projects and chart a fulfilling career path.
  • Build strong relationships with peer teams to co-create strategic plans and processes, build and modify project roadmaps
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and enhance team performance. Play a role in continually refining team structure and processes for improvement using agile methodologies
  • Championing ATB's software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD processes, ensuring team compliance with the processes.
  • Lead and build a high performing development team through all phases of the life cycle, including requirements gathering, scoping, prioritization, solution design, build, QA/UAT, and release.
  • Provide expert guidance through offering best practice recommendations to ensure successful execution of Salesforce and GTM (Go-To-Market) projects.
  • Lead the Salesforce technical team with a focus on Salesforce administration, development, QA and implementation, including working with vendors.
  • Mentor the software development team on best practices for Salesforce configuration and development, and follow a governance framework

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Services or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce FSC
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and achieve measurable results
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (i.e. Gitlab, Github, etc.. )
  • Experience with agile development processes using scrum/kanban

Leadership skills:

  • Connect team missions & visions to the overall objectives of Client Experience & Technology, and the broader ATB story.
  • Familiar with multi-platform, multi vendor, multiple technology based environments.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, policies, regulatory requirements and industry information affecting ATB’s environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize activities and excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and seek opportunities for development of direct reports.
  • A curious and inquisitive approach to learning and problem solving.
  • Ability to adapt to new responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform II Certified
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certified.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA)
  • Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, etc.)
  • Familiarity with other third-party systems and integrations such as OwnBackup, Box integration, Docusign integration, etc.
