The ideal candidate will have a passion for theFinTech ecosystem, e-commerce and payments. You have a track record ofsuccessfully delivering complex projects with analytical rigor,thought-leadership and executive-level narration. You are comfortablemanaging multiple – and competing – projects at the same time,adjusting your priorities on the fly. You know when to sweat the detailsand when to back off and look at the bigger picture. Long-term you aremotivated by business, strategic and consumer impact, so you seek to seeover the horizon and tackle new challenges.You will help define and drive Affirm’s strategy and have asignificant impact on the company and its future. You will own projectsend-to-end, developing insightful analyses and communicating clearly andcompellingly. You will be involved in sensitive projects and need tomaturely handle confidential information. You will work closely with themembers of our leadership team, who rely on you to analyze complex topicsand make insightful recommendations. You will also be involved inparticipating and driving M&A and venture investment opportunities asthey arise.What You’ll DoProvide objective analysis and recommendations on our overall corporatestrategy, entry into new markets and geographies, portfolio expansionplays, technology investments, and M&A priorities Frame questions, analysis and strategic considerations for executives /key stakeholders to make the best, most informed decisionsBe a subject matter expert on our industry, adjacent spaces andrelevant other companiesWork closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to driverecommendationsWhat We Look For3-5 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm orinvestment bank, preferably with focus on fintech, payments, financialservices or related sectors 3-5 years of experience in a strategy or corporate development role ata leading fintech, payments or financial services company Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced,dynamic, and often ambiguous work environmentExcellent analytical skills combined with a practical, quantifiable andstructured approach to problem solvingAbility to context switch and ramp up quickly on new topicsAttentive to details and highly organized, with strong independentplanning and process management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to develop strong relationships and work across allorganizational levelsPay Grade – CAN31Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typicallybegin in the min to mid range.CAN Base Pay Range Per YearMin: $144,100Mid: $180,100Max: $216,200Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company!
