Job Description

About your next Challenge as a Senior Manager, Finance :

Under the responsibility of the Director, Finance, the Senior Manager, Finance will be responsible for the revenue recognition by programs as per the accounting policies, provide detailed programs financial analysis such as EACs and reconciliations and provide critical financial monitoring and analysis of various operations of the division.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the revenue recognition by ensuring the compliance with the accounting/finance policies;
  • Responsible and coordinate detailed financial analysis by programs;
  • Coordinate, support and validate program EACs;
  • Coordinate, support and validate all tasks related to Program Finance (Scheduling, Earned Value (EV), cost baselines and others)
  • Direct supervision of managers and financial analysts
  • Drive an improvement culture throughout the team and the other functions;
  • Compile, analyze and understand major drivers & identify risks and opportunities;
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly presentation and reviews; analyzing projects/programs inputs and compiling division level package;
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance of accounts reconciliations;
  • Other ad hoc analysis and projects as required.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities;
  • CPA accounting designation required;
  • Spoken and written bilingualism essential (English-French);
  • Advanced skills on Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of SAP, BPC and HFM is an asset;
  • Great managerial skills and demonstrates a strong leadership;
  • Strong analytical skills and able to conceive of situations from a broad perspective in order to assess their repercussions;
  • Capacity to synthesize information in order to prepare presentations to management;
  • Demonstrates rigor in his work and is accountable for his actions;
  • Demonstrates integrity and work ethics;
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset and leads continuous improvement activities;
  • Is effective in a dynamic environment and able to work with tight deadlines;
  • Highly organized and able to self-prioritize with multiple conflicting deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR);
  • For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.
