The Senior Manager, Events and Catering oversees Event Bookings and the Concierge Program, ensuring successful events and excellent guest service. They supervise event and concierge staff, manage small events and catering programs, lead medium-sized conferences and signature events, and support F&B operations planning as needed. Now, if you were to come on board as our we’d ask you to do the following for us: Ensure the planning and execution of high-quality meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring the highest standard of experience for event attendees. Collaborating with internal partners on the entire lifecycle for medium sized conferences and signature events including critical paths, resource allocation, sourcing of specific products, assignment of responsibility, management of logistics. Inspire, motivate, and engage staff to prioritize excellent customer service and hospitality above all else Conduct regular assessments of the business needs and guest services to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the Events and Catering program Oversee the execution of events planned by both the Event Bookings Team and Concierge Team, are planned meticulously, and executed to meet client expectations and exceed organizational standards. Monitor event timelines, logistics, food & beverage to ensure efficient and effective operations. Think you have what it takes to be our Manager, Concierge & Bookings? Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit: Strong communication and analytical skills, well development interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills Superior project management abilities with a focus on prioritization and efficiency. Comprehensive understanding of liquor license requirements and laws Exhibits exceptional thoughtfulness and diplomacy to cultivate relationships with various stakeholders in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines Demonstrates exceptional leadership and management skills, effectively overseeing a dynamic team and providing necessary support to ensure all members succeed Progressive, substantial event experience, including +5 years of experience in planning, management, and execution of large-scale events. At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proficiency in event Management Software, EMS is a bonus. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
