Make an impact with our Consulting – Human Resources team as a Senior Manager. This diverse team of professionals develops innovative strategies that make a positive impact on clients’ businesses. Responsibilities
- Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of consulting engagements with a focus on organization and people services in the private, public, not-for-profit and Indigenous sectors
- Execute projects related to change management, organizational review and design, talent management, performance management, human resource strategy and policy development
- Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
- Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence
- Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business
- Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, organizational development, organizational psychology, behavioural sciences or other related field
- CPHR, Prosci, CMC, PMP or other related designations or certifications are considered an asset
- 8 to 9 years of human capital strategy experience, ideally in a consulting and client-service environment
- Strong business and practice development skills
- Demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
- Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills
