Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & eCommerce, you will work closely with a group of internal and external partners to develop and execute integrated communications plans and strategies that support the strategic priorities of the organization. We are looking for a team player with innovative ideas, mastery, and a passion to effectively shape and enhance our communication initiatives. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor/master’s degree in an applicable area of study (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism) 7+ years of relevant work experience in challenging and progressive communications roles Exceptional writing and editing skills; critical thinking and verbal communication, with the ability to transform high level thoughts into key messages for diverse audiences The gift of storytelling, with an ability to work from envisioning through to execution Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple platforms and build relationships as a trusted advisor to business leaders on both internal and external communications matters Communications planning and projectmanagement/administrationskills Demonstrated experience telling compelling stories through a variety of media including written, video, infographic and social media Ability to manage competing/demanding priorities A self-starter motivated to work with limited supervision Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills Ability to excel within a team environment through collaboration and cooperation Intermediate knowledge of MS Office software applicationsWhat You’ll Do: Brand Equity Development: Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a consistent brand identity for Masco Canada Execute strategies to amplify brand recognition and credibility Monitor industry trends, identifying opportunities to differentiate our brands Quality Communication Enhancement: Implement communication plans conveying Masco Canada's values, vision, and goals Oversee content creation across diverse platforms including press releases, social media, internal and external websites, recruiting tools, onboarding materials and broader internal/external communications. Provide subject matter expertise to improve marketing team communications Employee Engagement through Branding: Collaborate with HR and leadership to devise branding initiatives that bolster employee loyalty, pride, and connection. Lead campaigns communicating Masco Canada's culture, accomplishments, and values. Solicit employee feedback to refine branding strategies and maximize impact. Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate relationships with key external stakeholders such as media, industry peers, and community organizations, enhancing Masco Canada's visibility and reputation. Serve as a spokesperson for the organization when needed.
