We are currently looking for aSenior Manager, Collections Analytics , to join our team, reporting to the VP, Collections. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Collections Analytics to lead a team of analysts and specialists within the collections department.The managerwill be responsible for all analytics, reports, forecasts and any tasks involving the production and/or analyses of data for the collections department. The scope includes all Fairstone Bank as well as Fairstone Financial collections portfolios. Themanager will be the owner of the end-to-end collections contact strategies including contact strategy development, deployment, optimization, and performance monitoring while ensuring adherence to guidelines, regulatory requirements, and alignment with industry best practices. The Senior manager will assist the leadership team in making decisions by ensuring they have relevant data and analytics that will support the decisionsandwill also work with leaders from different departments on project and initiative and is expected to provide complex yet comprehensive analyses to help make decision that drive these projects and initiatives. Overseeing the professional development of the team using personalized development plans Overseeing the technical and personal development of the employees in line with their professional development plan and their career prospects Providing ongoing coaching to employees so that they can implement an effective development strategy suited to business realities while ensuring that their contribution is recognized at the Bank Supporting the team in developing their technical and business skills through training and targeted assignments Maintaining close contact with the team with regular one-on-one and team meetings Continuously promoting Fairstone’s Bank values and adhering to the leadership principles Act as the technical SME and gatekeeper for Power Curve Collections (PCC) Support day-to-day management of all operational areas of the Collection team including vendormanagement/monitoring. Partner and develop strategies with Risk to improve operations, forecast and monitor loss rates, etc., to achieve goals Drive material improvements in Collections & Recoveries performance by recommending new calling strategies, segmentations, collections strategies, etc. Continuously improve efficiency and drive material improvements in Collections and Recoveries Stay abreast of new technology and Collection best practices/strategies and ensure the business is constantly evolving to remain competitive Support the business with large projects and ensure they respect budget, scope, timelines and deliver the required benefits WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR Minimum of5years’ experience in aleadership/managementposition Minimum of5years related work experience in analytical roles, preferably in an analytical role within a financial institution. Knowledge of consumer lending industry, credit card and automobile financing will set the successful candidate apart. Undergraduate degree in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related analytical field of study or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred. Experience working with very large databases, data mining and/or data warehousing. Experience in programming and experience in manipulating data using tools like SAS, SQL, R or Python Experience with Power BI or comparable data mart and visualization tools considered an asset. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
