What you’ll be doing

You will be accountable for supporting the development and execution of strategies for emerging mass affluent clients, a priority growth segment for P&BB. Work is varied and diverse, but you can expect it will involve conducting research and analysis to identify best practices and competitive activity, as well as working on a cross-functional team throughout the stages of client journey mapping, solution identification, scoping, designing, implementing and tracking. Components of the role also include quantifying opportunities, and creating executive-level analysis, communication, and strategy frameworks to ensure effective decision making. You will participate in driving and supporting the implementation of opportunities with partners across P&BB.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

  • Cross-functional Collaboration, Strategy Planning & Execution - You will partner with stakeholders from across CIBC (e.g., our Frontline, Marketing, Product, and Digital teams) to support the defining and mapping of end-to-end client acquisition, engagement and franchising journeys, identify solutions that solve key gaps and friction, assess cost and feasibility, and collaboratively execute a roadmap. You will support the creation of differentiated and profitable solutions that meet the needs of the emerging affluent client and work with the Client Strategy team to drive the change agenda to achieve defined measures of success.
  • Analytical Thinking & Business Acumen- You have a strong understanding of CIBC product, channel & distribution capabilities, are able to generate client insights and are skilled at synthesizing them to present actionable insights. You are adept at understanding the strategic & financial implications of various solutions that might be created to meet client needs for priority segments. You will also lead the monitoring & measurement of metrics and outcomes and will make recommendations to adjust plans or scope to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Presentation & Communication – You are highly skilled at both written and oral communication. You can effectively articulate issues / recommendations via your analyses and have a proven track record in creating materials meant to be shared at Executive Forums.
