Our client, a highly regarded public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager for their Moncton, NB office. This is a permanent opportunity ideal for a CPA professional with a client-focused work ethic who thrives in a professional office environment within a motivated team.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:
  • Cultivate and oversee senior-level client connections and identify service opportunities
  • Review of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Review of audit, review and compilation engagements, and other financial disclosures
  • Deliver and promote high quality client and business services
  • Offer support, mentorship, and growth opportunities to all levels of staff
  • Develop and conduct internal training sessions for staff
  • Oversee and manage engagement budgets, billings, and work in process variances
  • Other accounting, finance, and special project responsibilities as required
Skills & Attributes for Success:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant designation
  • 8 - 10+ years relevant public accounting experience
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office Suite, Caseware, and/or TaxPrep is considered an asset
  • Professional approach with an understanding of client-focused work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedicated organizational and time management skills with the ability to pivot between tasks and prioritize workflow to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
