Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Cultivate and oversee senior-level client connections and identify service opportunities
- Review of personal and corporate tax returns
- Review of audit, review and compilation engagements, and other financial disclosures
- Deliver and promote high quality client and business services
- Offer support, mentorship, and growth opportunities to all levels of staff
- Develop and conduct internal training sessions for staff
- Oversee and manage engagement budgets, billings, and work in process variances
- Other accounting, finance, and special project responsibilities as required
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation
- 8 - 10+ years relevant public accounting experience
- Proven proficiency in MS Office Suite, Caseware, and/or TaxPrep is considered an asset
- Professional approach with an understanding of client-focused work in a fast-paced environment
- Dedicated organizational and time management skills with the ability to pivot between tasks and prioritize workflow to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
