Job Description

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be integral to our product development team, focusing on creating, deploying, and maintaining advanced machine learning models. You will work closely with our data science and engineering teams to innovate and implement state-of-the-art solutions that drive our objectives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop machine learning algorithms and models, with a focus on natural language processing and understanding.
  • Deploy scalable machine learning solutions into production using AWS cloud services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problem statements, collect data, build models, and deliver comprehensive AI solutions.
  • Optimize existing machine learning pipelines and frameworks to improve performance, scalability, and outcome.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and related technologies.

You have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, including significant work with Python and frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
  • Proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production using AWS (e.g., AWS SageMaker, AWS Lambda, AWS EC2).
  • Extensive experience with natural language processing and understanding, and familiarity with current language models (Open AI , BERT, GPTs, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ideally, you:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Based in Vancouver, Regina or Edmonton
