Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and conducting land surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead survey crews in the field
- Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys
- Utilize GIS, CAD, and AutoCAD software for data management and mapping
- Conduct data collection and build databases for survey projects
- Interpret plans, maps, and legal descriptions
- Ensure quality control of survey data and deliverables
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients on project requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
- 5+ years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, GIS software, CAD, and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of data management techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
