Job Description
Cofina is looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer for one of its clients. Twelve (12) month contract, hybrid work in downtown Montreal.
Responsibilities :
- Contribute in all the phases of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Responsible for implementing highly complex and scalable Java-based web applications and services
- Accountability, delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high-performance following scrum processes
- Continuously improve your development and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Mentor other Developers on programming issues.
- Understand, review, improve and refactor code not written by yourself.
- Actively contribute to the continuous enhancement of the team and the platform through retrospect, by bringing new ideas and solutions on how to test and ameliorate the applications, the delivery, the communication, etc.
Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for solving large and complex problems.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, being self-driven, making independent decisions, and being flexible to cater to demands.
- Proficiency in J2EE Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with IODC implementation is a plus.
