Reporting to the Director, Internal Communications, you will strive to engage and inform employees through innovative and outcome-focussed communications strategies in support of the organizations priorities. This role is responsible for the development and dissemination of information in both official languages. All activities are undertaken in support of the WSP in Canadas strategic and operational priorities to improve the employee experience for our 12,400 employees. *** This role is based in Toronto and requires a basic level of French or more. . We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. #WeAreWSP What you can expect to do here: Build constructive and effective relationships with stakeholders to effectively advise on internal communications and develop, implement, and evaluate effective strategies, campaigns and plans based on best practices.Support an agile, proactive, and personalized communications approach to better meet the needs of our employees:By developing and implementing innovative internal communications processes to ensure consistent and effective communication with employees and managers.By creating content that is focused on the needs of different audiences and designed to inspire greater engagement.Review and evolve the companys current internal tools and channels to better align them with the operational needs and realities of employees.Collaborate effectively with colleagues on the Canadian and global marketing and communications teams to write, revise, modify and produce a variety of communication tools for various internal audiences.Assist with other communications tasks as needed What youll bring to WSP: Eight (8) years of professional experience in corporate communications, with a proven track record within major Canadian organizations.University degree in communications or another discipline with experience working in communications.Full proficiency in English, written and verbal and a basic level of French or more.Minimum working knowledge in French - Reading and listening comprehension are required.Demonstrated experience in implementing internal communications strategies in a changing environment.Exceptional writing skills that demonstrate the ability to create content that connects with the desired audience effectively.Highly professional and ethical in working with senior leaders on confidential and sensitive communications.About Us: WSP is one of the worlds leading professional services firms.
