We look forward to receiving your application.PartnerRe is an equal opportunities employer.Please join our company LinkedIn Pagefor all updates on new positions that are coming live.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Conducting risk-based audits of key business processes in accordance with professional standards for internal auditing to ensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operating effectivelyFollow up of audit recommendations to ensure appropriate corrective action has been taken to resolve identified control deficienciesPlanning and execution audits of the design and operating effectiveness of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (Sarbanes–Oxley 404 control testing)Assisting business units and functions to update their documentation of risks and controlsPartnering with management to develop opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve business processesProviding assurance over the design of controls for key areas of change prior to implementationCompleting 40 hours of company sponsored training in compliance with the department’s professional standardsAssisting on special projectsQualificationsExpected Skills and Expertise:3-5 years of experience in internal or external auditingAbility to effectively work as part of an international teamAbility to adapt to change and multi-taskStrong analytical, written/oral communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skillsStrong attention to detail and effective organization skillsDriven to add valueTakes initiative, driven to achieve resultsAbility to contribute to a culture of continuous improvementPrior experience with analytics / visualization software would be an assetAbility to develop other team membersProficiency in Microsoft Office productsEducational and Other Requirements:An undergraduate business degree in finance, accounting, IT or related fieldWillingness to work towards the CIA, CISA or CPAAdditional InformationPartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
