If you like the sound of us so far, keep reading to see if you have the experience and skills needed for this rewarding role!About the Role:The contract Sr. Human Resources (SHR) Manager, Internal Strategy is a 16 month contract position responsible for providing advisory support while managing the life cycle of HR projects across a variety of HR-related areas, including compensation, benefits, wellness, performance management, recruitment, employee relations, disability management and training & development.In addition to supporting internal clients, the SHR Manager will provide mentorship and growth opportunities to the HR team, identifying major challenges and overcoming them together. The Sr. HR Manager, Internal Strategy thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, is highly agile, and can take both a strategic and tactical approach to HR.Some of the things you’ll get paid to do:Strategy & BudgetExecution of the F’25 HR internal strategy in collaboration with the Leadership Team & Management Team (strategy, culture, internal design, change management, metrics and analytics)Provides leadership, guidance and counsel on matters related to retention, internal effectiveness,performance, internal change, benefits strategy, collaboration development, Culture, Diversity,Equity and InclusionSupports and work closely with the Director, CEO on the annual internal strategic initiatives andimplementationLeads Health & Dental Benefit program (recognition, benefits administration, wellness initiatives)Develop and implement HR related analytics and metrics within the businessHelp to oversee the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS) across RFRK/Training, Development & EngagementHelp lead a high performance remote working culture by developing remote-first operating principles, norms, and policies for the companyOversee the development of internal training to ensure that all training initiatives are completed on time and in accordance with the HR strategy.Identify new potential training initiatives internally and closing gaps in current staffPayroll, Compensation & BenefitsOversee payroll in conjunction with Director of Finance & AdministrationLead development and implementation of employee benefits plan & retirement planningAnalyze HR statistics and metrics, employee performance, turnover, retention and cost per hire rate, revenue per employeeMaintain HR budget along with Senior Organizational Strategy ManagerLead on restructuring headcount planning & analyticsEmployee Relations, Compliance & Disability ManagementProvide managers with tools to handle escalated employee relations issues including attendance, absences, disability management, terminations, etc.In collaboration with external HR and Legal teams, effectively resolves potential legal issues with minimal cost.Maintain the law and assure that all compliance policies comply with the federal lawRepresent the Organization as a management team member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).Lead the disability management, return to work and WSIB reporting program.Company CultureDevelopment of company policies and strategies that help in creating and building a betterenvironment for employees to workDevelopment and implementation of employee recognition programsProvide direction and act as a support resource to the various culture clubs at RFRK, ensuring that their that initiatives align with company valuesAbout YouMust-havesBachelor’s DegreeMinimum 7 years progressive Human Resources experience3 years experience in a Human Resources management roleStrong Health & Safety backgroundCHRP/CHRL is an assetExperience managing and implementing an HRIS systemExperience managing payroll & time management systemsStrong proficiency in Google Suite & Microsoft OfficeMust be knowledgeable on key legal issues associated with HR practices in OntarioExperience partnering with business leaders on developing and driving initiatives.Change management leadership capabilityExcellent decision making and critical thinking skillsProven conflict resolution and negotiation skillsExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environmentStructured and self-directedWorking at RFRK comes with other perks too:Work-Life Balance:Flexible Work Arrangements:Embrace the best of both worlds with our hybrid remote and onsite work location options.
