The Opportunity

:

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, collaborating directly with senior leadership to develop and direct HR strategies that align with our global company-wide objectives. Reporting to the Vice President (VP) for People and Culture, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our People & Culture initiatives forward, supporting organizational growth, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Business Partnership: Partner with senior leadership to understand business challenges and propose solutions focused on enhancing employee engagement

  • Strategic Alignment: Establish and drive HR programs/talent initiatives forward while ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives

  • Employee Relations: Provide hands-on and data-driven inputs and advice to Divisional Leaders on people related issues. Resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations and escalate issues as needed to ensure a positive work environment

  • Talent Management: Oversee workforce planning and succession planning initiatives, identify training needs, and assist with training initiatives to support employee development and career advancement

  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest new HR strategies, participate in the continuous improvement of systems and processes, and leverage HR metrics and reporting to drive data-driven decision-making

  • What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR Generalist, with at least 2 years working directly with business units

  • University or College Diploma in business specializing in Human Resources, or equivalent. CHRP/CHRL designation preferred

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a full understanding of all HR functions and best practices

  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation and commitment to workplace compliance and standards

  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a goal-oriented approach

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations and de-escalate conflicts

  • Experience with HR metrics, reporting, and analysis

  • Proficiency in using HR tools such as Workday is an asset

  • Ability to conduct presentations and experience working in a high-growth tech company is advantageous
