We are currently looking for an:

Senior Hardware Designer

As a hardware designer, you will participate to allsteps of electronic circuit development process, including architecture,schematics, layout, validation and documentation. You will also provide supportto the Production and NPI teams as well as for the Customer Support team.

Yourdaily life:

• Participate in newhardware designs from concept to mass production;

• Gather and identifycomponent level requirements; functional as well as physical characteristics.

• Develop embedded andelectronic designs using schematic capture.

• Oversee PCB layout, inconsideration of component placement, shielding and thermal dissipation.

• Participate in systembring-up and debugging

• Write and executelow-level software tests to validate hardware design

• Support productintroduction to manufacturing

• Maintain existing designs;mitigating production issues such as obsolescence, material changes, etc.

• Minimum work experienceof 10 years related to digital and analog circuit development

• Experience with complexhigh speed electronic circuit design

• Good oral and writtenEnglish skills for good communication with our multi-site teams. Oral French isrequired for good communication with our Montreal team

• Strong debugging skillsusing oscilloscope, autonomous and rigorous.

o Familiar with the following lab equipment: RF signal and networkanalyzers

o Knowledge of cellular technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, …)

o Wireless RF designexperience

o Knowledge of VHDL, Python and C language.

o Knowledge of military standards (MIL-STD-810) an asset.
