Qualifications Required:Bachelors or Master’s degree with a specialization in geotechnical engineeringRegistered as a Professional Engineer in OntarioA strong technical design background in geotechnical analyses and project management experience.A minimum of 10 years of applicable engineering experience, specifically related to mining and/or infrastructure project development. Work experience should include:Geotechnical investigations and reportingGeotechnical analyses and foundation assessmentsTailings and water management feasibility studies, design, and operational supportDam and embankment design, analyses, and monitoringConstruction material evaluationsCivil/earthworks construction monitoring and project managementPreparation of design reports, drawings, and technical specificationsCandidates must be interested in working with multi-disciplinary teams in the mining, hydropower, or water infrastructure sectors. The position may include domestic and international travel to support projects and client needs.We place an emphasis on developing practical solutions to meet the needs of our clients, and preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical competence.The estimated base pay range for this position is $108,000 to $135,000 CAD. The salary offered will be dependent on relevant knowledge, experience, and skill level.
