On behalf of our client here in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (Blockchain, React & Node.js, Redis) for a 12 months contract opportunity.
Role: Our Senior Full-Stack Engineer and Blockchain Specialist will first be responsible for integrating and completing work done by an external partner involving wallet initializing and smart contracts. They will be responsible for the creation and thorough documentation of high-quality code, while also contributing their consultative expertise during team feature ideation and iteration planning sessions regarding both the product and our workflow. Post outsourced work integration, the Senior Full-Stack Engineer and Blockchain Specialist will take on product expansion, bug fixes, ongoing iteration, and data analysis of user behaviour to enhance platform functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement new software and software components.
- Write quality software code according to business requirements and user stories ? Create clear, comprehensive documentation of all software code created ? Create clear, comprehensive documentation of team processes, product research, and evolving requirements.
- Ensure quality control throughout the software development lifecycle ? Analyze data and APIs for integration purposes.
- Test and deploy developed software.
- Mentor other developers including code reviews.
- Attend and contribute to daily standup meetings.
- Attend and contribute to sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives ? Track all work in Jira.
- Bachelors+ degree in Computer Science.
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Experience working with Solidity and Blockchain (2+ years).
- Experience designing software architecture and defining software requirements. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A clear and genuine interest in technology trends.
- The ability to meet deadlines and think strategically.
- Experience working on agile teams using Scrum methodology.
- Bonus: Experience with Startups, Passion for Music.

Experience with the following technologies:
- React (must be proficient).
- TypeScript (must be proficient).
- Nodejs.
- Fast API, NestJS (proficiency preferred).
- PostgreSQL, Redis (strong experience needed).
- Solidity (experience required).
- Smart Contracts, Web3 Integration, Ethers Typechains (essential).
- EVM Chains (proficiency preferred).
- Terraform, AWS (experience desired).
