Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you will represent the financial systems teams by providing day to day systems support, minor to medium complex systems development and relevant process reviews as the FP&A team evolves their financial planning system to a best-in-class model. Key focuses will be building capabilities and streamlining processes in order to sustainably grow the FP&A team as the Arc’teryx business continues to grow and lean into a vertical model. This role will report into the Senior Manager of financial systems but will also work cross functionally with the FP&A leaders to deliver both our short-term goals and remain on track of our five-year systems road map.

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

FP&A at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing business leaders with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement. This is the first support role on the Financial Systems Team, and an exciting addition to support the overall growth of the FP&A team.

If you were the Senior Financial Systems Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Taking ownership of the weekly and monthly inbound data loads from our various source systems.
  • Maintaining weekly metadata loads, including troubleshooting & change management improvements
  • Delivering end user training for new hires or for team specific requests
  • Taking ownership of outbound data loads to various planning/reporting systems
  • Supporting the Senior Manager, FP&A Systems and Operationson system enhancement initiatives
  • Collaborating with the wider FP&A team on process improvement and offering guidance on best practices from a systems point of view
  • Updating and enhancing calculations as the teams continue evolve
  • Taking ownership of outbound mapping tables
  • Troubleshooting actual/plan variances from expected results
  • Collaborating with Amer Sports Finance and FP&A team to ensure seamless integration with parent company systems
  • Working cross-functionally across commercial, product and IT teams to ensure data and inputs are collected and used appropriately
  • Offering innovative solutions to capture data outside of our standard financial statements to support reporting and creating a one-stop shop system
  • Supporting and Leading User Acceptance Testing by creating UAT test cases, as well as developing documentation for business approval sign-off
  • Working closely with BI teams to identify requirements and ensure data consistency
Are you our next Senior Financial Systems Analyst?
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting or Finance or a related field
  • You have a minimum of 3+years of relevant professional experience in this field of work
  • You have deep understanding of finance systems and processes
  • You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience with Oracle products (EPM, FCSS, PBCS) and SAP products (S4 Hana)
  • You have a strong understanding of finance business processes across accounting, reporting and planning.
  • You have experience supporting the implementation of large-scale initiatives to drive change across people, process and technology
  • You are a strong communicator that can engage other leaders and cross-functional partners in key discussions and are able to communicate complex problems in a simple manner
  • You can communicate effectively and persuasively across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • You have a proven track record in building relationships, establishing rapport, credibility and trust
  • You have strong facilitation and problem-solving skills to drive alignment and innovative solutions
  • You are a motivated, stress-resistant person, who strives for excellence, is open-minded and has a positive mindset

$91,000 - $114,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $91,000 - $114,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
