Job Description
Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Reporting & Transfer Pricing for a large publicly traded client to take on a 24-month maternity leave coverage with a high likelihood of going permanent. This person will support the tax team by pulling information together for analysis on global projects. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced tax person to move away from the technical side and into something more analytical. Or someone looking to round out their experience with a little bit of tax.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual US legal entity and consolidated financial statements and quarterly/annual US tax provision.
- Assist in preparing detailed quarterly analysis of tax and transfer pricing results for meetings and senior leadership.
- Assist in preparing audit defence material for tax and transfer pricing.
- Provide support in researching, modelling and implementing tax planning strategies to respond to changes in law or changes in the business.
- Assist in preparation of US and Canada taxable income forecasting.
- Support global tax planning via modelling and analysis.
Requirements:
- A CPA designation plus 4-5 years of progressive experience
- Experience in tax and transfer pricing would be an asset but not required
- Experience in an environment with multiple entities/locations/etc.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills using Excel
- Strong financial accounting knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
- Proven ability to think independently and solve problems
- Ability to develop and manage a dynamic business process in a fast paced environment
Remuneration:
- $100-120k
