Reports To:

Manager, Financial Reporting & Tax

Key Responsibilities

Record month-end adjusting entries and capital entries for investment funds and development properties

Monitor cash flow activities and prepare investor distributions and other payments

Assist with coding of invoices to the correct fund and general ledger accounts

Assist with the preparation of financial statements for both internal and external users

Prepare year-end audit and tax working paper files within scheduled deadlines

Prepare month-end reporting for external parties

Liaise with management and third-party financial information providers

Complete ad-hoc projects for internal and external reporting purposes

Assist with other department functions as required

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field

Three to four years of experience in accounting or financial reporting

Investment company and real estate experience is an asset

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required

Strong organization skills and detail-oriented

Individual must be motivated, deadline-oriented and work well with others

Good business judgment and ability to perform multiple tasks without frequent direction.

Resourceful; able to solve problems and work independently.

Knowledge of Yardi preferred

Pay and Benefits The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is CA $85,000 - $95,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at NADG and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
