Our nimble, decentralized culture can provide you with a wealth of opportunities to learn about our business and quickly gain experience to accelerate your career.This position is a Senior Financial Analyst role based out of the Toronto offices and does offer a hybrid work schedule of three days in office.About youAs the Senior Financial Analyst, reporting into Director of Finance and Accounting, you will supply a high level of business support and information related to Budget and Forecasting, and Financial Analysis to enhance Senior Management decision making. In this role you will also support Banking and related Treasury functions.In This RolePreparation of the Forecast and Budgets for various REMS Departments, as well as related analysisDevelop intimate knowledge of the revenue, expense, profitability, headcount, and P&L forecasts, including various types of financial analysis using key performance indicators specific to the commercial real estate industry.Assist Controllers with recovery calculations, identify shortfalls and opportunities for additional recovery.Support REMS with strategic financial planning, analysis, and risk assessment with respect to client management agreements.Preparation and automation of profitability analysis and related reports.Provide insights to senior management for improvements that lead to cost reduction, and revenue generation.Develop and run analytical tools and processes to improve the quality and transparency of financial results and forecasts and to facilitate ad hoc reporting.What You’ll BringExperience in Commercial Real Estate roles is preferred.Qualified, or in final stages of, Professional Accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA), and/or CFA3-5 years of relevant experience working in a Finance team preferably with experience of Financial Planning and Analysis roles.Background of in-depth financial analysis and management reporting;Proven ability to analyze and draw insights from information and synthesize complex information in a concise and impactful communication to a broader group.Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to learn about and navigate the company quickly and accurately.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Bonus skills and experience#Li-HybridMake your next move an expert one and join us as we lead the industry into the future.
