You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
  • Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)
  • Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial analysis and data collection/structuring
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and a basic understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market. Relevant experience in a regional (or sizeable local) business

Education / Certifications:

  • CPA Designation Preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 Years of Experience in Finance and Manufacturing.
  • SAP Experience preferred
  • Well organized with good analytical, reporting and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills as a Team player

Job specific requirements:

Business Partnering:

  • Advise and partner with the plant(s) leadership team on course of action to achieve business targets and Financial imperatives (Gross (MPP)/Net productivity, and Capex Spend Execution)
  • Plan and recommend priorities on the plant productivity pipeline
    • Ensures consistency between capital budget and productivity
    • Assist Business Development to assess consistency between C:D ratio/ Capacity/Profit growth / NPD projects / Savings/ IRR including LOF initiatives with SCR.
  • Oversee duties of the Section Controller and manage Day-to-Day financial Activities of the plant.
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place in the areas of fixed assets and inventory management

Loss Analysis & Elimination:

  • Lead the loss elimination program for the site including the loss analysis, target setting, glide-path and master planning
  • Assists with the creation of tools and resources for production, business development and process engineering to assist them in identifying, quantifying, prioritizing and monitoring losses within the plant
  • Works with process owners on financial performance of loss elimination plans and assesses and communicates the financial risks/opportunities of these plans on a periodic basis
  • Track actual performance against relevant KPI’s, production standard and also track direct fixed cost spending
  • Lead or Co-Lead the FI Pillar and build the root cause analysis, loss intelligence, kaizen management, GE and change management skills in the pillar and organization.

Budgeting & Planning

  • Control OP/Planning:
    • Review final OP volume and related allocation to production lines
    • Sign-off cost centers budgets and related allocation to production lines
    • Supervise the OP and forecasts financial decks preparation process for the plant(s), and provide input where appropriate
    • Ensure OP rates are adequate to fully absorb costs budgeted for the year
  • Review overall planning BOM, Waste, Master Recipe (incl. BOL) changes, and their validity for OP and daily operations
  • Provide support to the Capex Finance team in gathering/building information required to prepare ARs and post-evaluations
